Maddy has been a lifeguard for the last six years. She has been a Lead Guard, Head Guard and has served as a Pool Manager at the public pool in her hometown of Hanford, California. Outside of being a lifeguard, Maddy often spends her time on the pool deck teaching or playing on the Fresno Pacific University Women’s Water Polo team. Maddy is currently a graduate student at Fresno Pacific University working to become a school psychologist to provide support throughout the education system. Maddy is excited for this upcoming summer and providing her knowledge and experience to staff.
Celeste has been a swim instructor and lifeguard for more than 20 years. She began her career in a small town in Sanger, California where she worked for eight years in high school and college. After college she worked for several municipalities from City of Davis, California to the City of Reno, Nevada. Celeste has been a Recreation Supervisor for the last 12 years mentoring and teaching over 100 young coaches. She has two children of her own. She has really cherished the ability to help them learn and grow through swim lessons as the parent instructor. One of her greatest passions is working with and mentoring dedicated swim instructors. In her free time she enjoys serving the community whether it’s volunteering at a local Community Center or working in the youth center at her church.
